A Sudheer Reddy is the Chief Financial Offer of PPN Power Generating Company, part of the Apollo Hospitals Group. He previously worked in C-level, senior executive management positions across companies like Coastal Energen, Udupi Power Corporation and Lanco Power. He is a qualified chartered accountant as well as a certified financial consultant and has experience in strategic planning, accounting and financial management.

Adarsh Mundhra is the Head of Finance at Yara Fertilisers India. He is a qualified Chartered Accountant and certified ICWA professional with over 16 years of experience in handling financial operations, business transformation, project financing, debt restructuring, accounting functions and cost control initiatives. Adarsh has previously worked with renowned business organisations like UT Worldwide India, Expeditors International India, Pepsico and Tata Steel.

Aditya is the Head of Finance and Controlling at Star Engineers. A qualified Chartered Accountant (ICAI) and Company Secretary (ICSI), Aditya holds more than 9 years of professional experience in financial operations, MIS, budgeting, forecasting, business valuations, business plans, setting up accounting policies and procedures, and conceptualising and implementing financial planning and management. He is passionate about performing in-depth analysis on the business process and providing complex data analysis models that help the stakeholders take strategic decisions. A competent problem-solver, Aditya possesses a remarkable track record of meeting assigned targets in an efficient and effective manner, dealing with internal and external customers

Born and brought up in a humble family from Bokaro, Jharkhand, Aditya completed his higher studies and professional qualifications from Kolkata. He receives constant impetus from his loving and most supportive better half, Mrs Jyoti, and is a proud father of a toddler son, Aayansh. He firmly believes that ethics help foster a safe and engaging society that positively influences our relationships with the communities where we live and work.

Ajay Aggarwal is Chief Financial Officer at Cyient and serves as the Executive Director on the company’s Board. He joined Cyient in 2011 as the CFO and currently leads teams across corporate finance, audit, reporting, M&A, corporate venturing, investor relations, procurement, infrastructure and facilities management, financial planning and analysis, information technology, and corporate secretarial, legal, compliances and contract management. He also sits on the Board of Cyient’s subsidiaries.

Ajay’s focus areas include driving financial and operational efficiency, corporate governance, business partnering, cost management, inorganic growth process improvement, risk management, cash conversion, and margin improvement to accelerate Cyient’s growth and create value for its shareholders. Ajay has held various leadership positions at global, multi-product organisations such as Tata Chemicals, Reliance Industries, Kirby Building Systems, PT Polysindo and JK Synthetics across his extensive career of 35+ years.

He was ranked third among the Best CFOs under the sell-side category of investor relations for Technology/IT Services and Software, among 77 nominations across Asia in 2018. He was recognised as the ‘CFO of the Year’ and received a team award for ‘Excellence in FP&A’ at the CFO Leadership Summit organised by Kamikaze Events in 2018. In 2017, Cyient earned the Golden Peacock Award for Risk Management under his leadership for developing a robust risk management process based on industry and proven best practices.

Ajay is presently a member of the CFO Board, which engages with stakeholders including regulators and the larger financial community on policy matters. He also serves as the Steering Committee Member of CII’s CFO Forum, Telangana. He is an active member of other CFO forums such as the IMA and Business World. He contributes immensely to the finance community in the capacity of speaker and panellist at various discussion forums. He has also been guest speaker at educational institutes, including ISB and the IITs. Ajay holds a bachelor’s degree in engineering from BITS Pilani. He is a member of ICSI and ICAI and has completed a corporate finance programme from Euromoney, UK as well as the full, on-campus Advanced Management Programme at INSEAD, France. His other interests include badminton, organic farming and reading.

Amit Agarwal leads the Finance function for Avery Dennison LGM South Asia. Avery Dennison is a leading company in material science and manufacturing of labelling materials. Amit is a Chartered Accountant by profession. He is a holistic and result-oriented Finance leader with over 15 years of experience in driving profitable growth, and partnering for strategy development and successful execution. Mr Agarwal has managed various business portfolios of world-class companies, spanning the material science, medical technology and consumer electronics sectors. He is well-versed in partnering to deliver business results, reducing costs and improving profitability while building performance-oriented teams. Mr Agarwal has also successfully led business analytics and planning processes. He likes spending time with his family, enjoys his small garden and loves playing cricket.

Amit Agarwal has over 24 years of experience working in companies like Fortis Healthcare, Ballarpur Industries, Neuland laboratories and DCM Shriram. He has been working with DCM Shriram for over 12 years. Mr Agarawal has a proven track record of leading business strategy and partnership, digital initiatives, decision support, performance management and M&A, including deal structuring. He is experienced in leading various strategic initiatives while maintaining relationships with key stakeholders and has helped in achieving business objectives. His hobbies include travel and music.

Amit Agarwal is a member of ICAI and an associate member of ICWAI. He currently works as the Chief Financial Officer of JK Fenner India. Apart from JK Fenner, Mr Agarwal also takes care of a few other businesses of the JK group. He has more than 29 years of experience working with large renowned Indian groups.



Mr Jain has extensive experience raising long-term funds for large projects, managing working capital financing, international finance, trade finance, forex and treasury, public equity (IPO), capital markets and private equity. He has also handled merger and demerger transactions of listed and unlisted companies and acquisitions of businesses abroad. Mr Jain has been interfacing with the investor community, leading merchant bankers and investment bankers as well as a wide range of financial institutions and banks, both in India and abroad. He has also been responsible for foreign direct investment (FDI), overseas investment, corporate restructuring, tax related matters, accounts and annual report finalisation, internal control and internal audit, risk management, budgetary controls, MIS, costing, cost reduction programmes, commercial matters, corporate governance, SEBI, company law and secretarial matters. He is also responsible for business & strategy formulation, evaluation of new business opportunities, diversification, new ventures and M&A.

Amit Agarwal is a Chartered Accountant, a CFA-charter member and holds an MBA from IIM-Bangalore. He has close to 18 years of experience in Finance, corporate strategy, treasury, funding, M&A, regulatory matters and consulting. In his previous stints, Mr Agrawal led Group FP&A for Indiabulls and spearheaded the group’s foray into the insurance space. He also served as the youngest member of the National Leadership Council at Jana Group, Zonal CFO at Essel Group’s listed entity, and at Tata Group, KPMG and Grant-Thornton in the BFSI domain. Apart from leading community initiatives for specially-abled children, Mr Agarwal has been a state-level chess player and a finalist at the Global Investment Banking Olympiad.

Amit Gala is Head-Finance at Mogli Lab and has over 20 years of experience in business Finance, investor relations, fundraising, M&A, strategy, FP&A, driving AOP and strategy. He holds a bachelor’s degree in commerce from the University of Mumbai. Amit is a CFA as well as a Chartered Accountant. His previous experience involves serving in a variety of roles in organisations such as mSwipe Technologies, Tata Sky Broadband, CEAT, ICICI Securities, ICICI Bank and Citibank.

Amit was awarded the ‘Best Investor Communication Practice 2014’ award by Research Bytes India, based on voting by investors and analyst community. He also received the CFO Power List award 2019 and CFO 100 award 2018. Amit is a strong relationship builder and negotiator and is able to develop consensus between key internal and external decision makers.

Amol Joshi is a seasoned Finance professional with over 24 years of experience managing Board and senior stakeholders. His experience spans across the functions of accounting and reporting, financial planning and analysis, budgeting and forecasting, financial control, balance sheet management, change management, systems integration, project management and business analysis. Amol is an expert at building high performing teams across geographies, with leadership and execution experience in North America, Europe and Asia. He has built strong teams with a focus on controls and efficiency by leveraging technology and off shoring.

Amol is an avid reader and fitness enthusiast. He has been running half marathons for more than two decades and has represented teams in squash, touch rugby and cricket. Amol also enjoys sharing his expertise through speaking engagements at management institutes.

Amrit Singh is responsible for leading the company’s Finance function and business strategy with the objective of strengthening business performance. Amrit has nearly two decades of experience. He joined Max Life in 2013 and has since led a diverse portfolio of teams including strategy, advanced analytics, investor relations and group business. He has worked on various mandates around growth and profitability, driving key transformation programmes across the organisation. Prior to Max Life, Amrit worked with Infosys, PwC and Religare Enterprises.

Amrit holds a bachelor’s degree in engineering from Pune University and a postgraduate degree in management from ISB, Hyderabad.

Anand Venkateswaran is Vice President, Finance and Member, Board of Directors for Target in India, a fully-owned subsidiary of Target Corporation. He joined Target in 2010, and is responsible for Finance operations, retail services, data, analytics and insights and supporting HQ. Additionally, Anand heads the CFO/Controllership function for Target in India. He has over 20 years of diverse experience in corporate banking, controllership, business transformation and re-engineering, risk management and the setting-up of Finance Global Capability Centres (GCCs). He has worked with companies such as Citibank, Bank of America, American Express, and Hewitt Associates and is experienced in leading global teams.

Aneel Gambhir is Chief Financial Officer at Blue Dart Express, South Asia’s premier express air and integrated transportation distribution and logistics company which is part of the Deutsche Post DHL (DPDHL) Group. Aneel has over 30 years of rich and varied experience across verticals as diverse as accounts, Finance, taxation, treasury operations and audit. He took over as CFO in 2017 and has been instrumental in promoting financial excellence and reporting while keeping an eye on the critical cost factor. At Blue Dart, he is responsible for Finance, strategy, investor relations, accounting and costing, and risk.

Aneel has been a Blue Darter since September 1998 and in 2003 was elevated to Senior Vice President, Internal Audit. In this role, he was instrumental in setting up the company’s risk management process and audit function. Prior to taking over his role in Audit, he worked as the firm’s Regional Finance Controller for the Western Region.

At Blue Dart, Aneel has streamlined various processes, led cost optimisation and efficiency improvement projects and plugged revenue leakages. He has also been instrumental in designing, developing and implementing Freight on Value (FOV), a value-added service to facilitate arrangements that insure goods through an insurance company. Aneel has been conferred various accolades and recognitions. Some of these include an Award for Cost Control and Management at the 8th Annual CFO100 Programme, the CFO NEXT 100 Award in 2016 and recognition as one of the ‘Top 100 Upcoming Finance Leaders of India Inc’ at the Fourth Annual CFONEXT100 Awards in 2015, to name a few.

Ankit Bakliwal is the Finance and Operations Director at Texas Instruments, Bangalore. He brings over 10 years of experience in investment banking, financial planning, analysis and business operations. He is passionate about people development and executing long-term strategies. Ankit holds an MBA from SIBM, Pune and completed his BTech from NIT, Jaipur.

Ankur Gupta is Associate Vice President-Finance at Kirloskar Oil Engines. He is a Chartered Accountant with over two decades of varied experience in various sectors, including engineering and auto ancillaries. Prior to his current role, Ankur has handled various roles in India and overseas in the areas of accounts and Finance, treasury and internal audit process improvements, in companies like Motherson Sumi Systems and Surya Roshni. He joined Kirloskar Oil Engines in 2019 and was conferred with a ‘Circle of Excellence Award’ for his contributions in FY2020-21. Ankur is also a recipient of an ‘Excellence in Building a High Performance Team’ Award from CFONEXt100.

Anshul Bhayana is a Chartered Accountant with over 19 years of diverse experience in B2B and B2C business models spread over financial services, oil and gas, management consulting and consumer products. His areas of expertise include corporate strategy, conceptualising business plans, profit centre management, M&A and metrics development. Anshul is currently part of the leadership team at Nando’s. He is a strategic financial leader with a growth-oriented approach and has a proven track record of implementing strong foundations for businesses. As a Finance leader he has enabled full business lifecycles, building from scratch to rapid growth, cost management and restructuring system implementations. In addition to the above, Anshul’s professional journey includes Finance transformation through the creation of centres of excellence in his previous organisations.

Anshul has been awarded the Business Leadership award for Excellence in Finance transformation and strategy. He has previously worked with giants like Sainsbury’s, Reliance Industries and GE Capital, and with consulting firms such as Bain & Company, McKinsey & Company

Arnab Roy has over 24 years of professional experience, working primarily with US, British and French MNCs. He handles Finance, accounts, tax, operations, supply chain, HR, IT, admin and regulatory issues. He has been a CFO for the last 14 years at US-based and European MNCs as well as a member of country and APAC leadership teams. Arnab has held 5 P&L CFO roles over this period with organisations like Schneider, GE, Tyco Healthcare, G4S and Herbalife. Prior to that, he worked at Tata Timken for 9 years, the last 4 of which he served as the firm’s Controller & Chief Accounting Officer.

Arnab currently serves as CFO of Schneider Electric Infrastructure Limited (SEIL), where he did a short stint as Executive Director & Sales Head for a few months before taking over as CFO in January 2021. He holds a degree in economics and is an accountant by qualification. Arnab additionally completed an executive MBA from IIM-Bangalore and is a certified Black Belt in Six Sigma from GE.

His other interests include speaking at various Finance and industry forums. He previously served as visiting faculty at XLRI Jamshedpur for 4 years while with the Tata Group in Jamshedpur. His wife Antara is a homemaker and his daughter Archisha is in the second year of her studies at NIFT – Delhi.

Arun Velayudhan is a financial expert with 25 years of experience across the broad spectrum of accounting, taxation, costing, business planning and sales operations. He started as a Chartered Accountant by profession but is now an auto enthusiast by choice. He is currently the Vice President at Toyota Kirloskar Motor, Bengaluru and is responsible for the accounting, taxation, legal and IS functions. Outside work, he enjoys spending time with family and friends, listening to retro music, reading fiction and playing golf.

Atul Agarwal is a Chartered Accountant and has been working with Sodexo India for the past 15 years. He is currently the firm’s Finance Director for India and is based out of Mumbai. Atul enjoys travelling, trying out different cuisines, playing video games and cricket, watching movies and spending time with his children in his spare time. He is also very interested in keeping up with and trying out new gadgets that get released in the market.

Ballav Mundra is the CFO of Hexagon Capability Centre, based out of Hyderabad, where he is responsible for corporate Finance, compliance, shared services, admin, procurement and IT. Prior to this, he worked with IBM and Tata Motors in multiple roles, including business Finance, delivery Finance, operations, strategy and compliance. Ballav is a CA and an alumnus of IIM-Bangalore. He is married to Ruchi, who is a School Coordinator, and is the father of two teenage boys. Ballav has a keen interest in travelling, reading and keeping an eye on equity markets.

Bimal Khandelwal is the Chief Financial Officer of STTelemedia GDC, which is India’s largest provider of purpose-built data centres. He is a strategic business leader with over 25 years of experience providing financial leadership across the entire gamut of Finance and operations, in the IT services, telecom, insurance, financial services and manufacturing sectors. He is an expert at leading and guiding businesses towards both top-line and bottom-line growth through M&As, cost optimisation, resource rationalisation and efficiency enhancement.

Chirag Mehta is a senior finance executive with over 20 years of experience in Finance and operations management. He has developed and implemented financial controls and processes in addition to productivity improvements. Chirag’s expertise lies in the core areas of Finance. He has demonstrated the ability to streamline operations and processes that drive growth, protect, and enhance value and add to the bottom line.

A finance leader with exposure to large, multi-location and transnational revenues, Deepak Jain joined Ather Energy as its Chief Financial Officer in November 2019. Deepak brings over 22 years of experience across global brands like First Advantage, Apple India, P&G and Gillette. He joined Ather after a five-year stint at First Advantage as CFO for their India business. Specialising in conceptualising, leading and executing business expansion strategies in manufacturing, trading and services business environments, Deepak began his career at E&Y before moving on to Gillette and P&G, where he took on key leadership roles in distribution modelling and sales finance. In 2010, he joined Apple India as its CFO and led the Finance team during a period of exponential growth for five years. Deepak believes that Tarun and Swapnil’s vision for electric vehicles and automobiles serves as a lighthouse for the industry and is keenly working with the team as Ather enters new markets.

Devi has 30 years of rich experience in Corporate Finance functions. He is currently the Chief Financial Officer at Future Generali India Insurance Company and is responsible for strategic planning, annual business plans, business partnering and decision support, financial reporting, audits and taxation, etc. Prior to Future Generali, Devi worked in senior leadership roles at organizations including Snapdeal, Fiserv, Walmart India and Ernst & Young International.

Devi is a qualified Chartered Accountant as well as a Company Secretary and is an alumnus of Shri Ram College of Commerce, Delhi University.

His interests include traveling and meeting new people. He is married to Deepa, a homemaker, and has two daughters Dakshita and Nikita.

Dharmender Tuteja is an alumnus of the Shri Ram College of Commerce, New Delhi, as well as a Cost Accountant and Company Secretary. During his 35-year-long career in Finance, he has served at SAIL, KRIBHCO, SAMTEL, Controls & Switchgear and Humboldt Wedag before joining the Dalmia Bharat Group. Dharmender currently works as CFO of the Dalmia Bharat Group.

Dinesh Kulkarni is a qualified CA with over 27 years of post-qualification experience in Treasury and Finance with organisations such as NSE and the Reliance, Daimler and Volkswagen groups. He is currently the CFO of Kuwy Technology, which is a major digitalisation initiative and a Volkswagen Group subsidiary. Mr Kulkarni has a specialisation in Treasury in general and fundraising in particular. He is an extrovert who loves networking, meeting new people and understanding different perspectives to gain a well-rounded view. He loves music in general, but particularly enjoys Indian classical music and is currently learning Indian classical vocal at Suresh Wadkar’s Ajivasan Music Academy. He also likes reading books on self-help and business-related topics. Mr Kulkarni is a fun-loving person who loves travelling and road trips in particular.

Durgesh Jaiswal serves as the CFO of ICRA Analytics (a 100% subsidiary of ICRA). He has over 13 years of experience in various roles in Finance, HR, and business planning teams. He is a Chartered Accountant and has a degree in Commerce. Durgesh has also completed certificate courses on CSR, forensic accounting and fraud detection from ICAI.

Farokh Balsara leads the consumer products and health services practice for Ernst & Young in India. In addition, he is the Programme Leader for the Entrepreneur of the Year (EOY) Awards. Mr Balsara has 34 years of rich experience advising companies across a wide variety of sectors in areas including risk, assurance, regulatory and transactions advisory. He has assisted several large Indian companies in identifying risks and developing controls to mitigate business risks, as well as in improving the efficiency of key business processes. Mr Balsara has also been involved in transaction support services, market reviews, feasibility studies, reviews of marketing and advertising spends, and in developing entry strategies for multinational companies seeking to enter India.

Gaurav Khanna is the Chief Financial Officer of Ltidpl Indvit Services and the Investment Manager of Indinfravit Trust. He has over 22 years of experience in the infrastructure sector, including over 20 years is in the road infrastructure space. Mr Khanna is a qualified Chartered Accountant. He previously served as Chief Financial Officer at Tata Reality and Infrastructure and worked at Punj Lloyd as well as Adani Group.

Gopal Balachandran joined ICICI Lombard in 2002. A joint venture between ICICI Bank and Canada-based Fairfax Financial Holdings, ICICI Lombard is India’s number one private general insurance company and the first general insurance company in India to be ISO 9001:2000 certified.

Gopal became a certified Chartered Accountant in 1998 and Company Secretary in 1999. After obtaining these certifications, he worked at ICICI Bank in the Corporate Accounts and Taxation department for 2 years. At ICICI Lombard, he was initially responsible for accounting in the personal lines division. He currently heads Finance and accounts (which covers financial reporting, management reporting, taxation and secretarial); risk management; and internal control and loss minimisation

Gopal has played a pivotal role in ICICI Lombard receiving an iAAA rating from ICRA consecutively for the last 6 years. He is credited with getting ICICI Lombard ICAI’s Gold shield award in FY 2006 and its Plaque award in FY 2012 for ‘Best presented accounts.’ Gopal was also the winner of CA CFO in the Insurance Sector by ICAI in 2014 and a CFO 100 award winner in 2013 and 2014.

Himanshu Bhojani is a Chartered Accountant with over 21 years of post-qualification experience. He currently works as Finance Director - South Asia & Middle East at Arjo, a listed MNC Company based out of Sweden. Himanshu is also a Director on the Boards of Arjo India and Arjo Middle East. Arjo is a global supplier of medical devices and related services and solutions. Prior to Arjo, he worked with various MNCs, including Deloitte India.

Jayesh Jain is a member of ICAI and holds DISA(ICAI), Certified Information System Auditor (CISA) and Certified Information Systems Manager (CISM) certifications. He has over 20 years of experience in the housing finance and NBFC sectors. Jayesh is dedicated to innovation and forward-thinking methodologies that push boundaries and challenge employees and clients to achieve their most significant potential. He has been working with Hero FinCorp (a Hero Group Company) as CFO since 2018.

In addition to being accountable for increasing revenue growth, his current role encompasses a wide range of duties and responsibilities, which vary from driving business strategy and financial planning to interacting with management on strategic and governance issues. Jayesh has developed excellence in all in all areas of Finance, exceptional analytical skills and the ability to examine and understand business needs and deliver comprehensive reports for external groups while exceeding stringent expectations. He is accustomed to managing multiple projects simultaneously in fast-paced, deadline-driven environments. He previously worked with reputed companies such as GRUH Finance from 2001-2014 and PNB Housing Finance from 2014-2018.

While at Hero FinCorp, he has successfully raised large tranches of capital from PE investors and promoters in 2018, 2020 and 2022. In his earlier stints, Jayesh led the IPO of PNB Housing Finance, which was the largest IPO for an HFC in India, and involved processes such as seeking Board approval, hiring merchant bankers, domestic and internal legal counsel, RTA, preparing DRHP, seeking approvals from SEBI, investor presentation, road shows, allotments and listing formalities. Jayesh is interested in nature and wildlife photography and is famous in his circle of friends and colleagues for his vibrant, under-exhibited and unique narrative compositions. He is also fond of reading books.

Joy Basu is the Executive Director and Chief Financial Officer of Times Internet and has been with the organisation since 2012. He has over 35 years of experience and previously served as CFO of GoAir, Sterlite Technologies and Rediff.com. Joy has wide experience in corporate governance, business turnarounds, capital raising, investor relations, operations, risk management and M&A. He is a Chartered Accountant and a recipient of the British Government Chevening Scholarship. Joy also attended the Senior Management Programme at Manchester Business School.

Kalyan Ghosh is the CFO of ArcelorMittal India (AMIPL) based in the NCR. He joined ArcelorMittal in Point Lisas, Trinidad and Tobago, West Indies in 2004 and looked after the Finance and accounting functions until becoming its CFO in 2006. Kalyan returned to India as CFO of AMIPL in 2011. He started his career at PwC in Kolkata after qualifying in 1983 and subsequently joined Indian Aluminium Company in 1984, working in various locations (Belgaum, Bangalore, Mysore and Kolkata) from 1984-1999. Kalyan also worked at OKS Lubricants as Executive Vice President Finance in Bangalore before he left India for Trinidad in 2004. He is also on the Board of various ArcelorMittal Group companies in India. Kalyan has a degree in commerce from St Xavier’s College, Kolkata and is a Chartered Accountant.

Kedar Upadhye is ReNew Group’s Chief Financial Officer. He has over 22 years of diverse, global experience. Prior to joining ReNew, Kedar was the President and Global CFO of Cipla, one of India’s largest publicly-traded pharmaceutical companies, with a market cap of approximately USD 9.8 billion. As CFO at Cipla, he headed the global Finance and IT functions and worked across multiple geographies, including the US. His leadership experience includes core financial reporting, business partnership, business model realignment and cost optimisation, corporate finance and global investor relations, as well as implementing several high-impact, cross-functional transformational projects. Before Cipla, he was VP and Head, Finance and Investor Relations for NYSE-listed Dr Reddy’s Laboratories. Kedar has also held leadership roles at PepsiCo and Thermax. He holds an MBA from the IIM-Bangalore and is a qualified Company Secretary and Cost Accountant.

Ketan became the CFO of ThyssenKrupp Industries India and joined the Board as a Whole-time Director in June 2022. A qualified Chartered Accountant; he completed a Senior Management course from IIM-Calcutta and is also a Six Sigma Green Belt holder. He has more than 22 years of professional work experience across numerous roles in Finance, accounting and reporting, banking and finance, taxation and controlling at different hierarchical levels at ThyssenKrupp. As he progressed in his career, his responsibilities increased manifold to encompass direct taxation, banking and Finance, accounting and audit as per IFRS and Local GAAP, cost records and audit thereof, forex hedging and reporting to the group company in Germany. He presently leads a huge team at ThyssenKrupp, overseeing the Finance, procurement, estimation and commercial project management functions.

Kishore Vora is the CFO of De Beers India and a Board member. He manages operations in India and the Middle East. Kishore is also responsible for De Beers and Forevermark operations.

KS Sastry has over 30 years of extensive work experience in industries such as fertilisers, sugar, seafood, EPC and infrastructure, pharmaceuticals and (currently) education. Manish Kapur is a Partner with the M&A Tax – Deal Advisory and PE practice of KPMG. He has over 25 years of experience in areas such as mergers, acquisitions, transaction advisory, corporate restructurings, family offices, succession planning and capital structuring. He works with a range of multinational, private equity and domestic clients. He has previously worked for the tax practices of Arthur Andersen, RSM and PwC, and also as an in-house tax counsel for Motorola, where he was responsible for India and other South Asian countries.

Manoj Sethi works as Head-IT Finance at Toll India Logistics. He has over 28 years of experience in IT/ ITES related companies. Toll is based out of Melbourne, Australia and is one of the leading logistics companies in the APAC region. It is a wholly owned company of Japan Post.

Manoj previously worked as controller for South APAC and SAARC Countries and Finance Business Partner for a business group in the APAC region. MV Narasimham serves as Deputy Chief Financial Officer and is responsible for global commercial business finance and global taxation. He is a qualified Chartered Accountant with more than 30 years of experience across several finance functions. Mr Narasimham joined Dr Reddy’s Laboratories in 2000 and has since handled several roles across Finance in the company. He led the Finance operations of the company’s PSAI and Global Generics business segments from 2006 to 2012. Since 2012, he has been heading Corporate Finance (Direct and Indirect Taxation, Consolidation and Corporate Analytics) along with Global Business finance for both India and overseas operations.

MV Pavan is the CFO of Linde South Asia Services, spanning the South Asia region. He is a Chartered Accountant and previously held the roles of Vice President, Finance and Finance Director at Praxair India and Praxair Middle East. His responsibilities include managing key stakeholders’ expectations, steering digitalisation and automation initiatives among several other duties. He is married and has an 11-year-old son.

Niraj Agrawal is currently the Managing Director, Asia Pacific of MacLean Power Systems (a MacLean-Fogg company) and is responsible for Finance and Operations. He is involved in the business in Australia, New Zealand, Thailand, Philippines, China and Indonesia. He has around 26 years of work experience in the cement, packaging and utility industries. Prior to joining MacLean Power Systems, he worked at Aptargroup Inc, a NYSE-listed company, for over 11 years in different roles. He worked as Director Financial Reporting and Compliance for emerging markets (primarily Latin America and Asia) and subsequently as Director Finance of Asia and Director Finance - India & South East Asia. In those roles, he was the key person handling M&A in India.

Niraj started his career with the Aditya Birla Group in the cement business and worked for 8 years at different locations. He was involved in the set-up of a Greenfield project in Tamil Nadu and the implementation of SAP in the South zone marketing division. Neeraj is a member of ICAI and ICSI. He has attended General Management programmes at ISB, Hyderabad and at NUS Business School, Singapore. Nitin Agarwal is a Chartered Accountant by profession with over two decades of hands-on experience. He has predominantly worked in the luxury auto sector and is currently Chief Financial Officer for Volvo Auto India. Nitin previously worked at BMW and Apollo Tyres. He is married to Gunjan and has a son, Ayaan. He enjoys cooking, driving, listening to music, travelling, cricket and badminton.

Prem Rathi has 24 years of experience in strategic planning, Finance, accounts and taxation-related matters in manufacturing companies. He handles monthly MIS and reporting, funds management, treasury and forex, consolidation of accounts, receivable and credit management, accounts payables, tax audit, statutory audit and quarterly review, transfer pricing, GST transition, tax assessments, insurance matters, risk management, co-ordination with internal auditors and ensuring timely action on audit observations, preparation for Board and audit committee meetings and other secretarial matters. Puneet Biyani is the Chief Financial Officer for Times OOH – A Times of India Group Company. Times OOH is the market leader in India in outdoor advertising space and operates advertisement contracts at premium marquee properties such as the Delhi, Mumbai and Kolkata airports. Apart from being CFO, Puneet is also the Commercial and Operations Head of the Advertisement business at Mumbai Airport and Business Head for Mauritius Airport. He has been with the Times of India Group for more than 16 years. Prior to the Times Group, he worked with Goldman Sachs and PwC.

Puneet is a Gold Medallist Chartered Accountant and Harvard Business School Alumni. He likes swimming and is trying his hands at golf.

Puneet Malhotra is Managing Director and Chief Financial Officer for Societe Generale Global Solution Centres in India, Romania and Morocco. These centres deliver information technology, banking operations, Finance and research services for one of the largest French Banks- Societe Generale. Puneet has over 25 years of experience in diverse areas of Finance across various geographies and industries, including banking and financial services, global shared services, manufacturing and telecommunication.

Prior to Societe Generale, he worked with The Royal Bank of Scotland for 14 years in diverse areas, including 4 years in Singapore in a strategic Asia Pacific role as CFO, and subsequently as CFO for Global Hub India and Chair of Global Finance Services India. Prior to RBS, Puneet held Finance leadership positions with organisations such as Airtel and Xerox. Puneet is a Chartered Accountant from ICAI and completed 3 years of accountancy training at EY.

Rajat Roy acts both as an Asset Manager for hotels where Accor has regional investments and as Finance Head for the region. He ensures that hotels perform under a controlled governance framework to maximise the return on investment and also oversees stakeholder management.

Before this stint, Rajat held senior finance roles across various industries (audit, FMCG, retail, BPO) and has worked in India and the Middle East. He is a CA (India), CPA (USA) and holds a master’s degree in hospitality management from Cornell University.

Rajat and Priti have twin children who have just completed their undergraduate studies from the US and have started working in Washington, DC. Their thrid and youngest child is a two-year-old naughty and handsome golden Labrador, Asterix.

Rajendra K Sarangi, Director Finance and Company Secretary at Hoganas India, has a career spanning more than 20 years in multiple industries across multiple continents. He holds a bachelor’s degree in commerce from Sambalpur University, Odisha and has completed professional certifications of Chartered Accountancy, Cost Accountancy and Company Secretary.

Rajendra’s daily objective at Hoganas India, and in his previous roles, has been to increase shareholders value consistently. He does this by celebrating a ‘today can be better than yesterday’ approach, with a clear No-No approach to non-value-added activities. He is passionate about playing badminton, writing books, and counselling and motivating the next generation students and professionals.

Rajesh Seshadri is a seasoned corporate professional who has risen from the grassroots to the C-suite level. His career spans three decades, of which he has spent sixteen years as a Board Member and CFO. Rajesh is presently the Global CFO for DHL Global Forwarding SSC, responsible for five centres spread across the globe. He is also a certified leadership coach and a certified life coach and has recently authored a couple of books. His enthusiasm to help people unearth their potential has led him to wear multiple hats. In addition to being a published author, Rajesh also conducts workshops and was engaged in voluntary work as a coach, and as a mentor with Everwise.

Ram Sajja is the Global Head of SAP Operations and Automation. Ram focuses on AIOps and SAP HANA Enterprise Cloud (HEC) at Cloud4c. 

Prior to joining Cloud4c, Ram served as the Vice President of Engineering at Zyme Solutions based in Austin, Texas.   He is a pioneer in SaaS model and is a recognized expert in infrastructure management and software engineering with over two decades of experience based in the USA.

Ram’s experience spans multiple industries and multiple technologies such as AI/ML, SaaS, cloud computing, BigData and technology operations (SRE/DevOps).  He has worked across sectors such as transportation, telecom, banking, e-commerce, retail, marketing, and government sectors both in large and start-up organisations.  He has been in senior management roles for the last 15 years and has also been very successful as a CEO.

Ram pioneered and developed commercial software for automated technology management of data centres in a SaaS model and has successfully implemented this model in telecom, banking, healthcare and retail verticals.  He was previously associated with companies such as Morgan Stanley, Verisign, Mohawk, metroPCS, IBM Global Services, JP Morgan Chase Bank and Alcatel Network Systems in various technical and leadership roles. 

Ram holds a master’s degree in engineering from Virginia Tech University.  He is an avid reader and enjoys golf in his spare time.

Ravi is the Global Head of Marketing at Cloud4C. As part of his role, he is responsible for PR, brand communication, and improving the brand’s demand generation. In a career spanning over 2 decades, Ravi has cut his teeth with technology leaders like Microsoft, HP, Lenovo, IBM and Adobe, helping drive brand engagement and demand programmes across products, sectors and segments. In his previous role, Ravi set up and led B2B marketing practices for one of the leading global agency networks in South-East Asia.

Outside of work, he likes to spend time reading, listening to music and adding to his cooking skills.

Richa Bathla is a seasoned Chartered Accountant with over 14 years of consistent success in Finance and accounting operations. She is competent in transforming data into actionable strategies and managing top- and bottom-line growth. Richa is a firm believer in the theory of constraint and has completed various projects while developing and implementing SOPs that resulted in efficiencies through process improvements and automation. She has a proven track record of balancing stakeholder needs by identifying several areas for cost-cutting in the organisation during the crucial time of the Covid-19 pandemic. RJ Shama Sunder has over 37 years of experience in corporate finance, business strategy, corporate planning and legal matters. He is a management graduate in Finance by qualification. Mr Shama Sunder started his career in banking and worked in various capacities, handling retail, SME and corporate finance. He worked with Corporation Bank, ING Vysya and HDFC Bank, in a career spanning more than 2 decades. In the mid 2000s, he moved to industry and worked as CFO with the Brigade Group and Ozone Group. He currently works as CFO with Bhartiya Group, responsible for the Finance, accounts, legal, IT and commercial verticals of their real estate, contractor and asset management companies.

Rohit is a qualified CA and holds an MBA in Finance. He has been an integral part of Sodexo for over 15 years and currently steers and enables the Indian leadership team to grow the business and enhance financial performance. Rohit has also previously worked with Sodexo UK as Finance Director and started his career at Nicolas Piramal (now Abbott India). He likes playing Badminton and travelling to different places with family and friends.

Rohit Gupta currently works as Country Controller and CFO at ITW India for the India and Southeast Asia region. He has around 28 years of enriching experience in consulting, manufacturing, distribution and start-ups. Mr Gupta’s key specialisations include business re-organisation, M&A, start-up, planning, taxation, treasury, IT, Board-level management and strategic Finance. He has diverse industry experience in sectors such as consulting, oil and gas, construction, auto components, high end manufacturing. Mr Gupta has worked in Singapore, Cambodia and India. Ruchi Vijay has over 25 years of experience in large corporate houses and start-ups, where she has served in multiple cross-functional roles, including corporate finance, M&A, project finance, accounting and business finance. In her current role as CFO of Tata MD, Ruchi is helping build an indigenous diagnostics company focused on India’s key healthcare challenges. She is also leading the people function, and the supply chain and administration and facilities departments.

Sachinn Joshi is Group Chief Financial Officer at L&T Finance Holdings. In this capacity, he is responsible for Finance and accounts, FP&A, treasury and investor relations. Sachinn is also part of the Group Executive Committee that reports to the Managing Director & CEO. He has more than 32 years of experience across the financial sector. Sachit Nayak is the Director of Finance for Eaton in India. He also heads Eaton’s Global Financial Services and Systems (GFSS) in Pune. Prior to joining Eaton, Sachit held leadership roles in Finance with AT&T, Concert, Johnson McLean Technology in the United States and with Avaya in India. His most recent role was leading Avaya India’s Global Finance Shared Service (GFSS) and Customer Order, Billing, and Collection (COBC) Centre in Pune. Sanjay Kulkarni has over 25 years of experience in the fields of field of Finance, accounting and taxation, and financial management. He currently holds a leadership position at Elantas Beck India as CFO and Vice President Information Technology & Procurement. Sanjay is responsible for strategic objectives, digitalisation and information management, implementing key strategic projects in terms of expansion and M&A, in addition to operational Finance and IT. He is a qualified Chartered Accountant as well as a Cost Accountant and has completed several certified programmes in leadership.

Sanjay Wadhwa is Chief Financial Officer at IIFL Wealth and Asset Management. He has over 24 years of experience years and his judicious industry knowledge comes with an established track record of streamlining business and Finance operations that drive growth and increase efficiency. Sanjay brings a wealth of expertise in Finance across varied industries, including financial services (wealth management, asset management, NBFC, insurance broking, stock broking, commodity exchange, clearing corporation, commodity broking), manufacturing, consulting and audit.

Sarma is a seasoned professional and has been on the leadership team and worked on several strategic projects, including real estate and tax strategy and cost management. Prior to CGI, he was associated with Accenture, TCS and BHEL.

He held a Board position as Director at Accenture Solutions India over 2014-2018 and is currently on the Board of CGI India’s legal entities. In his leisure time, Sarma likes watching movies and loves listening to music.

Shetul has over 15 years of expertise in the fields of strategy, financial and operational management and people development. He is currently the CFO of ZingHR, which is a top HCM and HR Tech player in India and is aggressively expanding globally. Prior to ZingHR, Shetul worked at Texas Instruments, a Fortune 200 MNC, for over 14 years in multiple roles including Director Finance and Operations for over 7 years. Additionally he is an angel investor and mentor who also helps raise funds for new-age start-ups. Shivani Chauhan takes care of the controllership function for Adobe India, China and the company’s Global Shared Services. She looks forward to developing areas of the Finance organisation through the use of innovation and technology. She believes that ‘the road to success is always under construction,’ and wants to be a driver of change. Shivani has diverse experience across multiple industries, such as manufacturing (Honda Cars), FMCG (Walmart) and IT (Adobe). Snehal Shah is a seasoned management professional. He specialises in business strategy and has over 30 years of cumulative experience in operations, business process, risk management, MIS, administration, vendor management and team building. His expertise spans financial services, metals, cement, carbon black, textiles, chemicals and refineries. A Chartered Accountant by qualification, Mr Shah headed the Corporate Management Services division at Aditya Birla Group for over four years before donning the mantle of CFO at Century Textiles and Industries.

Mr Shah was also part of Aditya Birla Capital for more than 12 years, where he helmed the financial shared services operations on top of corporate operations for the company’s life insurance wing. He also had a distinguished stint as Senior General Manager at Birla Copper for over three years, managing the treasury desk for metals, forex and interest rate trading. In the early part of his career, he was closely involved with the Chairman’s office at Aditya Birla Group in the capacity of Executive Assistant to the Chairman.

S R Ganeshan is currently CFO & Director (Finance) at Indian Oiltanking He is a seasoned financial professional with over 32 years of experience in the oil and gas sector. Ganeshan is an enterprising leader with extensive experience handling the entire gamut of the accounting and financial functions. He is a key member of the leadership team and partners businesses in the development and implementation of the company’s growth strategy. Sriram is a Finance professional with 25 years of experience across Finance, procurement, taxation, compliance and related areas. He is currently the Senior Director, Finance at Eli Lilly Services India. Sriram has worked in multiple capacities in various functions, such as corporate finance, procurement, indirect sourcing, vendor sourcing and training. He holds a bachelor’s degree in physics from Delhi University and is a chartered accountant. Sriram likes to listen to and sing Hindi movie songs and is a huge karaoke fan.

Suhas Dixit is Chief Financial Officer and Whole Time Director at Savita Oil Technologies, a company engaged in the business of transformer oils, petroleum specialty oils, lubricating oils and wind power generation. When it comes to hobbies, despite having no professional training in art, Sunil is a passionate water colour artist. He loves painting with water colours due to their vivid, timid and spontaneous nature. Sunil also enjoys exploring nature and goes hiking regularly in the Aravalli range. In the last two years he has undertaken trekking expeditions to the Great Lakes as well as the Tarsar/Marsar lakes in Kashmir.

Sunil Kondala is the Digital Transformation Evangelist for Cloud4C, with over 17 years of global experience across industries such as energy, healthcare, manufacturing, CRO, pharma and telecom. He is also the MD of Samriddhi, a company specialising in the provision of cleanenergy in the transportation sector and the Founder of NetZero Energies, which specialises in the provision of clean energy solutions to industry. Suparna Banerjee Bhattacharyya, an agile professional in the fields of Finance and operations, has over 2 decades of experience with large multinational industry leaders. Her rich professional experience, spanning various operational domains – Finance and accounts, legal and commercial, supply chain management, IT operations, corporate communications and public relations – makes her a dynamic personality who encompasses great skillsets in business strategy and analysis and multicultural and global operations. She also possesses insight into excellent team management along with a balanced approach to maintaining a great working relationship with valuable customers, vendors and stakeholders She is an influencer in her domain of operations in the industry.

Ms Bhattacharyya currently contributes to the global Finance and corporate marketing committee of the HORIBA Group, a technology leader made up of 49 companies, spread across 27 countries and headquartered in Kyoto, Japan. HORIBA’s businesses operate in the markets of automotive testing, process and environmental instruments, medical diagnostics, semiconductors and scientific instruments. Her previous assignments have been with Bata India, Schlumberger and GAP International, which gave her the opportunity to evolve in her domain over the years.

Supriya Sharma is currently the Associate Director and Finance Head at Boston Scientific Technologies and Engineering Services (BSTESPL) India. Prior to this, she served in various leading roles, including as Regional Finance Head at organisations like William E Connor, British Telecom and SingTel. Supriya is a Chartered Accountant and Company Secretary and holds an advanced diploma in global business services from The Hackett Institute, US. She is also an alumnus of the Indian School of Business.

Supriya has over 20 years of experience in the corporate sector across industries like telecom, retail and healthcare, leading global teams within Finance and steering various transformation and automation projects across the globe.

Udhay Shankar is the Group CFO at Dr Agarwals Healthcare. He has over 25 years of leadership experience across industries, including healthcare, petroleum, pharma, IT and hospitality. He is also an experienced consultant in areas such as strategic financial planning, fundraising, cross-border mergers and acquisitions, turnarounds and technology. He has previously worked with companies like Reliance Industries, Mahindra Holidays, Sterling Holidays and Spectra Soft Technologies. He holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Madurai Kamaraj University and an ACA qualification.

Umakanta is a managing director at Kroll and is based in Mumbai. In his current capacity, he is responsible for the overall financial valuation practice for Western India. He has over 15 years of experience in financial advisory services, including valuation, fairness opinion, disputes, restructuring, equity research, credit research and other advisory services. Umakanta has managed a range of mandates, including business valuation, intellectual property valuation and complex capital structure valuation. He has also advised several clients on swap ratio determination, corporate finance, business plan development and review, exit strategies and shareholder disputes.

Umakanta has managed and executed a range of financial advisory engagements for the energy, utilities, infrastructure, private equity, insurance and financial services healthcare, telecom, media and entertainment, retail and IT and ITeS industries, including M&A, accounting and tax reporting, transfer pricing, litigation, dispute resolution and strategic purposes. His specialisation includes valuation of complex financial instruments, such as complex convertible instruments, earn-out and contingent payments, cross-currency interest rate swaps, options and other hedging instruments. He has also advised several companies on distress debt transaction, earn-out structuring and ESOP structuring.

Prior to joining American Appraisal, Umakanta worked in Deloitte’s financial advisory services practice and in Evalueserve’s investment research and valuation team. He holds an MBA and a bachelor’s degree in business administration. Umakanta is also a Member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (MRICS) under Valuation of Business and Intangible Assets pathway and holds the Certified in Entity and Intangible Valuations (CEIV) credential from the American Society of Appraisers.

Vandana Gulhati has a strong foundation in financial accounting, operational controls and analytics with years of experience in US GAAP And IFRS audits, internal and external reporting and project management. She is solution-oriented with the ability to effectively navigate through technical issues and challenges. Vandana is a passionate leader with the ability to inspire the best in her teams.

Vikrant Gandhi lives in Mumbai with his wife, son and parents. He holds a bachelor’s degree in commerce as well as CA and CWA certifications. He has about 26 years of post-qualification experience. Vikrant has been with the ICICI Group since 2008 and has served as CFO of ICICI Home Finance since 2018. He plays cricket, listens to Hindi film music and likes reading books.

Vivek Anand is a Finance professional with a degree in Chartered Accountancy. He has 28 years of intensive experience primarily in the FMCG, telecommunications and real estate industries in India, Singapore and Bangladesh. Mr Anand has previously worked with GSK, HUL and Telenor and currently works with one of largest publicly-listed real estate companies in India, DLF.

Mr Anand played a lead role in India’s largest business divestment in the consumer sector, valued at USD 4 billion. This involved divestment of HFD business to Unilever and the sale of heritage brands like Horlicks and Boost, which are sold in over 20 countries. He was awarded the ‘Best CFO Award’ for business turnaround performance for the year 2018 by the Financial Express Group. Mr Anand has diverse industry experience across geographies and is highly skilled in Finance, treasury, M&A, corporate planning, investor relations and IT.

As an energetic and mature professional, Mr Anand is endowed with strong leadership and team-building skills along with strong business partnering and change management. He possesses a creative and positive business mind-set and has an eye for business opportunities. His results-oriented personality, combined with his strong negotiation and problem-solving skills, have enabled him to successfully manage challenging projects and contribute to the organisations he has served.

Ona personal level, Mr Anand is highly committed to work-life balance and pursues sports and fitness programmes regularly. He is happily settled with his wife and two kids in Gurugram.

Vivek Arya is a qualified Chartered Accountant who graduated from SRCC and holds an Executive MBA from IIM. He started his career with E&Y and subsequently worked at various global IT and ITeS organisations, such as Newgen, CSC and Sapient, as well as government organisations like the British High Commission (UK Foreign commonwealth office). Vivek is a Finance professional with 25 years of experience in Finance and accounts, global in-house centres and business operations.

He currently works at Airbnb as an Executive Director on their Board and as Finance Director, leading the finance function. Vivek is married to Sunanda Arya and has a teenage son. He loves travelling, exploring various cultures and food and enjoys having real conversations with a diverse set of ever-evolving people.

Vivek Chopra has over 24 years of experience in various disciplines within Finance across multinational organisations in the financial services, technology and media industries. He has extensive leadership experience of building and managing large teams, and driving change and transformation, including setting up several businesses from early-stage start-ups and scaling them into large organisations.

Vivek joined Macquarie in 2009 when the India Finance Shared Service Centre was in the early stages of set-up. Over the years, he has held multiple roles and helped scale the centre to a matured state. He is currently the Head of FMG Gurugram, with 800+ finance professionals supporting the Group. Vivek is a strong advocate of promoting diversity and inclusion at the workplace and is a passionate mindfulness practitioner, which has helped him built high performing teams. Prior to joining Macquarie, Vivek was with HT Media, one of India’s largest newsprint media companies, as its Group Financial Controller. Prior to that, he was the Head of Finance for the Indian outsourcing centre of leading outsourcing company Vertex, where he helped the Indian operations grow from early-stage start-up to employing over 3,000 people.

His other stints have been with multinational corporations in the technology sector, including HCL Corp, NIIT, Hughes Software Systems and Cadence Design Systems, in a variety of Finance roles. Vivek is a Chartered Accountant and a Company Secretary by profession.

VS Mani is a Chartered Accountant with over 30 years of industry experience. He is currently the Executive Director and Global CFO for Glenmark Pharmaceuticals and leads the organisation’s worldwide finance, legal and secretarial functions. He has been associated with leading pharma and healthcare companies such as Glenmark, Cipla and Wockhardt.

Mr Mani handles the entire gamut of Finance functions across treasury, taxation, accounting, financial planning and analysis, risk management, investor relations, as well as the secretarial and legal functions. He has also played a key role in mergers, acquisitions and spinouts of various companies in emerging and mature markets. Mr Mani has led a number of strategic fund raising initiatives, including IPO, private equity, FCCBs and LBOs. Glenmark, a member of the Dow Jones Sustainability Index, has raised a Sustainability Linked Loan.
