Adit Jain established IMA India, an economic and business research company in 1994. He continues to serve as its Chairman and Editorial Director. Previously he worked with Lazard, an investment bank, as Vice President & Head of M&A. Adit has advised companies on their India strategy; deposed as an expert witness, at several commercial litigations in the United States and given testimony at Parliamentary proceedings in India and Australia. He provides briefings to Company Boards, speaks at emerging market seminars and has lectured on Business Policy as Adjunct Faculty at the Indian Institute of Foreign Trade and International Management Institute.
He has over the years authored over a thousand articles in the domain of economics, politics, conservation, international affairs and business practices. He is Editor of IMA’s Quarterly Country Report, CEO Connect (a monthly magazine for the Finance Function) and IMA’s principal economic commentator. His writings frequently focus on the economic role of governments. He is a non-executive Director on the boards of Sanmar Chemplast, Cuddalore Vinyls, PR Pundit Public Relations and SAMHI Hotels. He previously served on the boards of Shriram Transport Finance, Mahanagar Telephone Nigam, Engineers India Ltd, Certification Engineers International Limited and Indosolar.
Adit works closely with forest authorities in Madhya Pradesh towards education, community and social initiatives. His foundation sponsors the education of thousands of school children across the Indian Subcontinent. In 2009, Adit was elected a Fellow of the Royal Geographical Society, London. A keen wildlife photographer, he travels extensively in the Indian Himalayas and spends time at National Parks in India and East Africa.
He has authored a book – ‘Wildlife Chronicles’ on his travels in the forest of India, which is intended to create an awareness of our country’s national treasures. This was published by Rupa Publishers in October 2022. Written as a travel log the book contains information on various forests, their flora and fauna and the challenges they face in achieving the fine balance between the needs of conservation and the livelihoods of local communities. It is intended to explain the importance of conservation and generate an interest in the wider population to visit and generate opinion on their preservation. Over the past twenty years Adit has travelled extensively across wildlife reserves, spending on an average about one week each month.
He has a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from the Birla Institute of Technology, India and a master’s degree in business administration from the Henley Business School.

Laxminarayanan G is the Global Head of Automation and Transformation for Cyient. He is an experienced management consultant with extensive experience in providing AI, analytics and digital consulting to many Fortune 500 companies over the last two decades. He has played leadership roles in various firms including Deloitte and PwC. He is a management graduate from IIM Lucknow and holds a post graduate diploma in AI-ML. He is a TedXSpeaker and a visiting faculty in IIM Kolkata, IIM Lucknow and IIM Amritsar where he teaches AI tools and techniques to students. He is an avid speaker at different industry forums and a regular guide to several MSMEs through CII and NASSCOM.

Veena is a Partner in Trilegal’s market-leading Employment Law practice. She has a wealth of experience in advising domestic and multinational organisations on complex issues relating to workforce structuring, employee benefits (including stock-linked benefits), contentious senior managerial exits, reductions in force and closures. Veena also routinely advises on employment law matters stemming from domestic and cross-border M&A transactions, including with respect to acquihires, employee transfers and post-merger integrations.

Veena has counselled on laws pertaining to workplace sexual harassment and discrimination and regularly advises and guides clients on reacting and responding to discrimination and harassment issues at the workplace. She has also led investigations on sensitive matters involving employees across designations, including C-suite employees, expats and trade union leaders.

As Head of People Operations and Strategy at Ather Energy, Sunitha Lal leads HR function and is passionate about exploring and curating organisation culture.

Sunitha has over 25 years of experience across all HR verticals. She is a strong coach and has a significant background in organisational and leadership development. Before joining Ather, Sunitha served as the Chief Human Resources Officer at Matrimony.com. She has also been Senior Vice President - Talent Management & Head of HRBP in Mphasis and before that was Vice President and Head of HR at AIG.

She has implemented innovative strategies and fostered a value-led culture across leadership roles. She facilitates the establishment of people processes and systems at Ather while exploring and nurturing talent. Ather presents a unique ecosystem given the intersection of product, people and process evolution and reflects diversity in generations and ideas.

Sunitha has a master’s degree in labour management and a diploma in labour laws and administrative laws. She is interested in group relations methodology and has been a part of the Group Relations Conference (GRC) as both a member and staff.

She is passionate about writing and Carnatic music and is a practitioner of Iyengar yoga. She records observations and idiosyncrasies of herself and others on her blog. She is the author of the book ‘Dotting the Blemish and Other Stories’ which is a collection of short stories commenting on inherent prejudices we have as a society, narrated by strong women leading an ordinary life.

Aishwarya Singh is a Research Associate at IMA and has been part of this team for the last 2 years. She has over 4+ years of experience working as a consultant in the development sector. She holds her Bachelor in Economics from the University of Warwick.

Aastha Srivastav has been a Research Associate at IMA India for 2 years. She holds a master's degree in International Relations from South Asian University and a bachelor's degree in Global Affairs from Jindal School of International Affairs. Her research interests include geopolitics, Indian politics and policy as well as international development.

Ankur Jain, Co-Founder, Ceekr is a technology entrepreneur with 25 years of experience in satellite communications and internet-based project. He is avid student of the behavioural sciences and Vedantic and yogic wisdom. Ankur holds a master’s degree in public health from John Hopkins University.

Shivani Modi, Co-Founder, Ceekr, is a social impact entrepreneur with a deep interest in human consciousness and yogic wisdom.
